Turn pain into strength

There are moments in life when you feel like everything is collapsing. For me, it was that morning when my father was taken from home in handcuffs, and I, a 14-year-old boy, was left in front of the closed door with a mission: to protect my brother and my mother.
No one prepared me for this. No one asked if I was ready.
But there was no choice. I didn't have the privilege to ask what I felt. Only to act. Only to hold on tight.
From that moment on, I understood something fundamental: that we don't always choose our story, but we can always choose how we tell it. You can look at my life as a treatise of crises. And you can also see them as a training course for mental resilience, depth, and emotion.
In preparatory school, in the army, in university, and even in love, I always returned to that place where a small child stands in the face of great pain and refuses to disappear. This child in particular became a man who believes in accompaniment, inspiration, and a story that leads to change.
"Your Choice" was not born from a cold initiative of data analysis. It was born from the heart, from the memory of a child who understands that sometimes the question is not what happened to us, but what we do with it.
I believe that if we know how to tell our story, we can turn it into a tool. And those who use this tool are no longer dragged by life. They lead it.
